A LOCAL businessman has been cleared of offering cars for sale onthe internet auction website ebay while not disclosing he was in thetrade. In proceedings brought by the Environmental Health andHousing Department of Ceredigion Council, 48-yearold Robert Davies,of Robert Davies Motors Limited, Llechryd, was charged on fivecounts. The offences were allegedly committed in June and July lastyear.
Magistrates in Aberystwyth were told that the county council hadnow discontinued the proceedings and the bench agreed to have thecharges withdrawn.
