WALK WILL RAISE FUNDS FOR `BUSTER BILL'.(LIFE & LEISURE)

Walkers and their dogs can help raise funds to continue the momentum for the passage of the ``Buster Bill,'' which would elevate animal cruelty to felony status, by joining the Fireplug 500 Walk for Animals on Saturday, Sept. 26, in Schenectady.

By lining up pledges for each mile walked, animal lovers can help the Animal Protective Foundation continue its programs.

Honorary chairman is Tom Mailey of WRGB, Ch. 6.

Registration is at 9 a.m. and opening ceremonies at 10 a.m. Pledge packets may be obtained at the Animal Protective Foundation, 53 Maple Ave., Scotia.
