The threat of a lawsuit has forced Capital Cablevision to stop airing SportsChannel's Yankees telecasts, a spokesman said Wednesday.
Frank Green, director of public affairs for Cablevision, said SportsChannel "is ready to initiate legal action" if the games continue to be aired. Therefore, Green said, Cablevision will discontinue the telecasts.
