NSW: Child dies, six trapped in head on crash
SYDNEY, Dec 14 AAP - A four-year-old child died in a head-on crash south-west of Sydney
yesterday.
NRMA Careflight said six people were trapped in the wreckage on the old Hume Highway,
Tahmoor, when a specialist medical team arrived shortly before 10pm (AEDT).
One of those trapped, a 29-year-old woman, took an hour to free and was flown to Westmead
hospital in a critical condition with chest and abdominal injuries, Careflight said.
The others were released quickly and taken by ambulance to Liverpool hospital.
